Christmas Biscuits
 
Hi everyone,
Keeping the Christmas spirit going, here is how I make Christmas "Sablés"
 
Recipe:
- 250g of flour
- 100g of soft butter
-15g of sugar (any will do)
- 50g of almond powder
-2 eggs
-1 tea spoon of baking powder
- Also need some biscuit cutters, I didn't have any so I just cut  the shapes I wanted out of card. For this just fold a square of card into two, draw the design, cut it out and voilà !

 Steps of the recipe:
-Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°f)
-Add all the dry ingredients : flour, sugar, baking powder and the almond powder
-Add 1 egg
- Work the mixture until you get a ball (this will take a while and you may think that something isn't right but do not worry!)
- Roll out the pastry
-Cut out the shapes
- Line the try with greaseproof paper
-  Put the biscuits on the tray (lightly coat with egg yolk) and in the oven for 8 to 10 mins

Once you have followed all your steps and have delicious warm biscuits waiting for you, grab a christmas mugg, make yourself a warm drink and pick a christmas movie !
